We aim to encourage college students track their daily moods and learn about Measurement-Based Care (MBC). To support this, we propose a mood-tracking app built on MBC principles. Each May, the project expands into a music festival where users submit soundtracks inspired by their yearly mood data.
The festival features a live playlist shaped by open-call submissions, food stalls, live performances, and a special vinyl booth where visitors can press a custom record designed from their own mood data. Clear maps and signage guide the event, while wristbands with scannable codes let people share their bios and soundtracks, turning casual encounters into meaningful musical exchanges.
This mood-tracking app helps users check in daily, reflect, and visualize their emotional patterns over time. Inspired by brain wave frequency charts, each mood check-in is converted into a sound frequency (Hz). Over time, these frequencies transform into meditation bowl tones, creating a unique soundtrack of your emotional journey.
