Hi, I’m Shiyan (Ashley) Zhu 🦔
I am a graphic designer and multimedia creator, currently based in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. I’m pursuing a BFA in graphic design at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), with concentrations in Computation, Technology and Cultures (CTC), and Drawing.
In my practice, I particularly focus on experimental typefaces, posters, editorial design, and artist books. In addition to my graphic design pursuits, I also actively engage in fine art practices, including drawing, installations, and multimedia art.
I enjoy collecting all kinds of printed matter, like stamps, tickets, and zines. I could happily spend hours flipping through them! Besides, my cat Dundun will always be my best companion in my leisure time.
